Hi, I’m Longfei!

I joined the School of Psychology at Zhejiang Normal University as a faculty member in 2026. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from Beijing Normal University, during which I also spent a year as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at UCLA.

My research brings together artificial intelligence and psychometrics in two complementary directions: AI for Psychometrics and Psychometrics for AI. In the first, I explore how neural networks and machine learning can advance psychological and educational measurement. More recently, I have also begun exploring the second, applying psychometric theories and methods to evaluate the capabilities and behaviors of large language models (LLMs).

I enjoy exchanging ideas on these topics, so feel free to reach out!

Four Chinese ink landscapes depicting spring, summer, autumn, and winter, with classical Chinese poetry.

Spring blossoms grace the woods with beauty, While spring birds sing their plaintive songs.

At dawn, I ascend the cool terrace; At dusk, I rest beside the orchid pond.

I lift my gaze to the paulownia tree; How lovely its blossoms are.

Deep waters lie beneath three feet of ice; Pure snow blankets the land as far as the eye can see.
